Alice Liddell

Alice Liddel was born May 4th, 1852 to Henry and Lorina Liddel in Westminster London. She was the 4th of ten children. When Alice was  4 Years old her family moves to Oxford where her family met Charles Dodgson hes better known under his pen name Lewis Carroll in 1862 rowing down the Thames river from Oxford to Godstew for a picnic Alice asked Charles to tell her and her sister Edith and Lorina a story. The story was about a girl named Alice who followed a white rabbit down a rabbit hole to the wonderful world of wonderland  The relationship only lasted till 1863 no one sure why the Liddells and Dodgson stopped talking. it's speculated that Dodgson wanted to marry the eleven-year-old Alice but her parents may have thought he wasn't good enough for her.  Dogson wrote it under the name “underground” and sent it to  an author friend eventually changing the title to “Alice’s Adventures in Under Ground”
